HIGH PERFORMANCE STAFF APPLICATION

The OWHA is looking for interested coaches and staff to work with our High Performance Athletes at our U16 and U18 events.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the athletes in Ontario as well gain experience, further development, showcase your abilities and build on your hockey resume.

If you're looking to get more involved in athlete development and be a role model to our young up and coming female athletes, this is a great way to do it. We will be accepting a wide range of experience levels.

Anyone interested in applying for a coaching/staff position within the OWHA for the U16 Preliminary Identification Camps and Ontario Summer Games or the U18 High Performance Evaluation Camps are required to fill out the application via the link below.  

Ontario Summer Games

The OWHA U16 High Performance Program is designed to develop female coaches in a high-performance setting. This program offers female coaches an opportunity to participate as a coach in the OWHA High Performance Preliminary Identification/Tryout Camp and possibly be selected to participate as staff in the Ontario Summer Games that will take place in Waterloo during July 30^th - August 2^nd, 2026, with an OWHA pre-competition camp starting on July 27^th, 2026.

This program is through a staff application process. OWHA U16 HP program is open to all qualified coaches/staff registered within the OWHA. All coaches selected to be part of the OWHA U16 HP program are required to remain with their assigned team for the duration of all events.

U18 High Performance Program

The OWHA U18 High Performance Program is participating in the Canada Winter Games in February/March 2027. This program is offering coaching/staff opportunities to work in a high-performance environment while preparing for and attending a national event.

This program is through a staff application process. OWHA U18 HP program is open to all qualified coaches/staff registered within the OWHA. All coaches selected to be part of the OWHA U18 HP program are required to remain with their assigned team for the duration of all events.

• Ottawa Area - May 31^st, 2026

2025 U16 Ontario Summer Games

• July 28^th - August 2^nd, 2026 (Waterloo, ON)

2025 U18 High Performance Evaluation Camps 

• July 8^th -12^th, 2026 (Nottawasaga Resort, Alliston Ontario)
• October 9^th - 11^th, 2026 - (Nottawasaga Resort, Alliston Ontario)

Short listed candidates may be asked to attend an interview session.
